These images have evolved out  of a long project  where I worked on the subject of botanicals. The portfolio began as flowers mostly , but as time went on I realized  that one of my interests was the form the botanicals took. Consequently, I began to emphasize shapes and would arrange the material into whatever I felt best represented  the unique nature of the chosen  subjects. Now. I  create various on a theme  showing new and unusual  patterns, shapes, forms and structures. Photography finds and records the familiar  and compelling world around us , but I want to fashion  my prints into what  I have never seen before  that fascinates me. How else would my susceptible eyes find a way to quell my insatiablle curiosity

Created many accounts by approaching clients and going over possible visual solutions in the form of portfolios geared to their needs. Bid on competitive projects such as cookbooks, ads  and  location assignments. Negotiated  fees  that  were  cost  effective  for  the  client. Oversaw client relations and found creative solutions for meeting companies needs. Hired assistants,  stylists,  and  crew  to  form an atmosphere of trust and reliability to get the job done  efficiently  and  skillfully. Responsible  for  designing,  building and organizing the studio and building an inventory of props for photo shoots.   Built in house lab for custom black and white developing and printing.   Scheduled jobs and kept books on outstanding purchase orders. Managed   the   equipment  in   terms   of  maintenance,  repair  and replacement.   Generated  assignments  in Italy and Mexico, which had the responsibility of  planning,  coordinating,  and  scheduling  with  the  client.    Initinated   new  business networking  to  build  sales.

FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER

1998-present.

Executed portfolios by experimenting with alternative techniques, processes and unusual lighting.  Established contact with various art consultants, designers, architects, galleries, and corporations.  Developed the design for web site with several series of images. Made custom toned prints.  Organized prints,  kept  track  of  sales, and added to the inventory with unusual new discoveries.
