Bize kendiniz ve fotoğraf yolculuğunuzla ilgili kısaca bilgi verir misiniz?
 

İsmim Arkadius Zagrabski. Langenfeld’de yaşıyorum. Rhineland’da, Leverkusen ve Düsseldorf’a yakın bir yerdedir. 30 yaşındayım ve Kasım 2006’dan beri fotoğraf çekiyorum. Aralık 2006’da ilk reflex makinamı aldım ve bu defa fotoğrafçılığa tamamen başladım.

 

Makineniz ve donanımınız nelerdir?
 

Şu anda Nikon D80 ile çekiyorum. Değişik lensler kullanıyorum.

 

Bir fotoğrafın dünyayı değiştirebileceğine inanıyor musunuz?
 

Bir fotoğraf sizi düşündürebilir ve hayal ettirebilir... Mesela Afrika’da çekilmiş fotoğraflar. Genellikle bu ülkeler ve onların felaketleri unutulur. Fakat fotoğraflar bazen sizi hayal kurmaya davet eder.

 

Açtığınız ya da katıldığınız sergilerle ilgili bilgi verir misiniz?
 

Şimdiye kadar hiç kendi sergim olmadı. Bunun için erken olabilirdi. Haziran 2008’de altı haftalık bir sergim olacağı konusunda sizi bilgilendirmek isterim. Sık sık değişik sergileri ziyaret ederim. 

 

Bize tekniğiniz hakkında biraz bilgi verebilir misiniz?
 

Fotoğraf düzenlemek için ışık odası ve photoshop kullanıyorum. Özel teknikler uygulamıyorum.

 

Size göre dijital fotoğrafçılığın olumlu ve olumsuz yanları nelerdir?

Kesinlikle pek çok avantajı var... Fotoğrafları dijital olarak düzenleyebilmek gibi... Sınır yok... Herşey mümkün. Film için çok para harcamadan yapabildiğiniz kadar deneme yapabiliyorsunuz.

Fakat bazı sakıncaları da vardır. Sahip olduğunuz olanaklar sayesinde fotoğrafı orijinalinden ayırt etmek iyice güç hale gelmektedir.

Hiç Türkiye’de bulundunuz mu? Hakkında ne düşünüyorsunuz?
 

Şimdiye kadar Türkiye’yi ziyaret etmedim. Çok güzel bir ülke olduğunu duydum ve gelecekte kesinlikle gitmek isterim. 
 
Beğendiğiniz ya da taklit ettiğiniz fotoğrafçılar var mı? 

Favori fotoğrafçım yok ve kimseyi taklit etmiyorum. Herkes kendi yolunu ve tarzını  bulmalı ve denemeli. Bu onu özel kılar. Fotoğrafçılık alanında ve yaratıcı yeteneklerde sınırlar yoktur.
 
Sanatsal ve entelektüel memnuniyetiniz nelerdir?

Can you give us some brief information about yourself and your journey of photograph?

My name is Arkadius Zagrabski. I am living in Langenfeld. The city is located near to Leverkusen und Düsseldorf in the Rhineland. I am 30 years of age and take photographs since November 2006. In December 2006 I bought my first reflex camera and at this time it all started.

What are your cameras and equipments ?

Presently I take photos with a Nikon D80. I use some different lenses.

Do you think that a photograph can change the world?

A photo may make you thinking and imagening.... For example photos taken in Africa. Often these countries and their calamities are forgotten. But the photos sometimes invite you to dream!

Can you give us some information about exhibitions you opened/joined?

So far I did not have had own exhibitions. This would be rather to early. I would like to inform you that I will have a six weeks exposition in July 2008. I often visit different expositions

Can you give us some information about your technique shortly?

For the image editing I normally use lightroom and photoshop. I do not apply special techniques.

According to you, are there any advantages and disadvantages with digital photography's? 

Certainly there are many advantages..... Like the digital image editing of the photos. There are no limits … Anything is possible. There are plenty of experiments you can make, without spending lot of money for footage.

There are also some cons. Because of the possibilities you have it becomes more and more difficult to distinguish the photos from the original.

Have you ever been to Turkey  ? What do you think about it?

No, so far I have not visited Turkey. I have heard that it is a beautiful country, so that I will certainly go te see the country in the future.

Which one photographers is your favourite or you imitate some photographer?

I do not have a favourite photographer and I dot not copy anybody. Everybody should find and practice his own way and style. That makes him something special. There are no limits in the field of photographing and the creative powers.

What are your artistic and intellectual satisfactions?                       

An excellent photo...
