Sebep, fotoğrafçılığa başlamaya ve değişik kültürler hakkında bilgi edinmeye olan isteğimdi.

Hayır, hiç yok. Röportajı tamamen gerçek olarak sürdürme çabasındayım ya da en azından gerçek hakkındaki görüşümle...

Bu bir takım çalışması mı yoksa tamamen kişisel bir proje mi?

Bu solo bir seyahat değildi. Diğer insanlarla yolculuk yaptım ama bu bir kişisel proje.

Projenizi hiç sundunuz mu, sunduysanız nerede ve ne zaman?

 “Gerçek” bir sergiyi kastediyorsanız, hayır. Ama internetin ve onun online topluluklarının gücüne inanıyorum. Böylelikle DeviantARTve Flickr’daki kendi web sayfamda “sürekli” bir sergim var.

Gerçekleştirme sürecinde; En komik, en üzücü ve en unutulmaz an neydi ?

Patlayan lastikler yahut kum tepelerinde 4x4’ü itmeye çalışarak geçen pek çok komik ve aynı zamanda korkunç zamanlar oldu. Yine de bu uzun ve dümdüz yolda araç kullanırken hissettiğim enginlik ve sonsuzluk duygusunu hiç bir zaman unutmayacağım.

The birth of the project, how has been achieved? Hhow was the project come out?

Like many things that happens in life, it happened casually. I just decided that my goal was to Africa, when I was invited by a friend to join his trip to Namibia.

The date of commencement and lasts? When did it begin and finish?

From 8 August to 26 August 2006.

Why this project? "What was the reason and purpose? "

The reason is my wish to join my passion for photography and the desire to learn about different cultures.

How many pictures did you take for this project?

More or less 800 shots.

Is there any fiction?

No, there isn't. My effort is to mantain my reportage completely real... or at least with my vision of reality.

Is it a `team` or `individual` project?

It wasn't a solo journey, I travelled with other people, but it is an 'individual' project.

Have you got any sponsor?

No, unfortunately I haven't any sponsor.

Have you ever expose your project, if so, where and when?

No, if you mean 'real' exposition. But I deeply believe in the power of Internet and its online communities, so I have a permanent 'exhibition' on my personal website, on deviantART and flickr.

During the realization: What's the most comical, the saddest moment of labor? And the unforgettable?

There was a lot of comical, and terrible at the same time, moments changing exploded tires in the middle of nothing, or trying to push our 4x4 out of a sand dune. Anyway, I will never forget the feeling of wide and infinite I felt driving along that long and straight road.

Despite my passion for photography has exploded in recent times, I can say that I was in the photography world since my birth.

Since I was child I grew up with my father who never leaves home without his camera, and I began to learn the technical basics, although when I was youth I preferred attend to other forms of artistic expression, expecially music.

The death of my father wake up in me two great passions: photography and Africa, which I am proud to see how his legacy.

The more or less simultaneous development of digital photography has been the stimulus for bringing the need to cultivate some form of art with the desire to travel and learn about different cultures.

Tecnically I am a self-taught. Probably my photos are not the result of a sophisticated stylistic research, but I just trying to ensure that they can tell stories.

A big help to my growth was certainly the support of various artistic online community from which I have had the first positive results, first of all deviantART.
