Merhaba Sevgili Kati , Fotoritim’e hoşgeldin. Merak ediyorum bir model , senin gibi fotoğrafçılıkla neden ilgilenir? Çünkü fotoğrafçılar senin fotograflarını sürekli olarak çekiyorlar ve bunun senin için sıkıcı olduğunu tahmin ediyorum. Fotoğraf çekmeye ne zaman ve nasıl başladın?

Fotografçılar benim fotoğraflarımı çektiği için değil, fotografçılığı sevdiğim için bir fotoğrafçı oldum! Çocukluğumdan beri fotoğrafçılığı severim ve önce fotografçılar için bir model olarak başladım ve daha sonra kendi fotograflarımı çekmeye başladım. İlk başta, daha gençken fotoğraf tutkum vardı . Daha sonrası (modellik yapmak ve kendi fotograflarımı çekmek) doğal olarak bunu izledi.

İlk makinamı (siyah plastik gövdeli, guneşli,  parçalı bulutlu ve bulutlu olarak 3 konumlu) 12 yaşındayken anne-babam almıştı ve o zamandan beri fotografçılık benim tutkum haline geldi. İlk defa 24 yaşımdayken modellik yaptım ve fotografçı olarak ilk fotograf çekimim 28’imdeydi. Kendime 2002’de kaliteli bir makina aldım (Canon Eos 5) ve kendi fotograflarımı çekmeye başladım. Bu, modellikle birlikte şu ana dek değişimli olarak yaptığım şey.

Fotografçıların beni sürekli çekmelerinden sıkıldığım doğru değil. Halen bundan çok hoşlanıyorum.

Hi dear Kati, wellcome to Fotoritim. I wonder about you, why does a model interest so much like you the photography,, because photographers are taking your photo continual? And I guess that's boring for you? When have you started taking photo? How? 

It is not because the photographers are taking photos of me that I started to like the photography and became the photographer! It is because I liked the photography since my childhood I started to model for the photographers and later to make the photos by my own. At the beginning there was my passion for photos when I was young, than the rest ( modelling & photographing by my own ) followed naturally.

I have got my first camera ( black plastic body, with three small pictures - sunny, half cloudy, and cloudy ) from my parents when I was about 12 years old and since than the photographs became my passion. I was modelling for a first time when I was 24 and I was doing my first shooting as a photographer when I was 28. I bought my own quality camera ( Canon Eos 5 ) in 2002 and I started to make the photographs by myself and this is what I do untill now alternately with modelling. 

It is not thrue that the photographers are taking of me photo continually so modelling is not boring for me. I am still enjoying it very much.

Fotograflarınızı ve çalışmalarınızı paylaşmayı seviyorsunuz. Bu sanat aşkı mıdır?

Evet seviyorum ve internet bunun için harika bir araç. İnternette kendi fotograflarımı görmeyi seviyorum. Sanırım her sanatçı sanatını paylaşmayı sever. Öte yandan, fotograf – resim- heykel – müzik – kitaplar,  başkaları onları görmez –işitmez-okumaz ve hoşlanmazsa neden yaratılmıştır ki? Sanat paylaşmak içindir. Paylaşmak sanatın özüdür.

You like sharing your photos and photo works. Is it a love of art?  

Yes, I like to share my photos and for this Internet is great tool. I am happy to see my photos all over the net. I think any artist is happy to share his art. Otherwise, why create the photos-paintings-sculpture-music-books if there wouldn't be anyone to see-hear-read-enjoy it? The art is made for sharing! Sharing is the essence of Art.

Kendinizi tanımlamak isteseniz model olarak mı yoksa fotoğrafçı olarak mı tanımlarsınız? Hangisi daha baskın?

Hiçbiri. Kendimi ne bir model ne de fotoğrafçı olarak görüyorum. Bu sadece benim yaşamımın bir parçası ve kendimi tanımlamak için kullanmıyorum.

How do you describe yourself a model or a photographer? ( If you want to describe yourself , do you see yourself as a photographer or as a model . Which one is dominant? Why ? )

Neither of them. I dont see myself  as a model, neither as a photographer. This is only one part of my life and I would not use it to describe myself. 

Çıplaklık hakkındaki düşünceleriniz neler? Özgürlük, fotografçılığın en iyi yolu, estetik görüş ya da sizin için ne ifade ediyor çıplaklık?

Bu dünyaya annemizin rahminden çıplak olarak geliyoruz. Fakat bence en uygun kelime özgürlük. Herkes seçimlerinde özgürdür ve benim durumumda çıplaklık benim seçimimdir. Çıplak kadın fotoğraflarını mimari fotoğraflara tercih ederim :) Kişisel olarak kadın vücudunu çok estetik ve fotojenik buluyorum ve Güzel Sanatlar için çıplak modellik yapmayı gerçekten seviyorum. Doğada çıplak olduğum zaman mutlu hissediyorum. Çıplak olmak benim için doğanın bir parçası ve bundan hoşlanıyorum.

What do you think about Nude? Freedoom, the best way of the photography, aesthetic vision, or what for you?... 

When we are coming to this world from mother's womb we are nude... but I think that freedom is the right word. Everybody has free choices and in my case Nude was my choice. I prefer the nude photos of women to architecture photos. :-) Personally I find women's body very aesthetic and photogenic and I really like to model for fine art Nudes. I feel happy naked in the Nature. Being naked is for me as being a part of Nature and I enjoy it.

Kamera arkasında olmak size ne hissettiriyor? Kendiniz ve duygularınız hakkında fotoğraflarınıza bakanlara ne aktarmak istiyorsunuz? Fotoğraf çekmekteki amacınız nedir?

Kamera arkasında duygularımı düşünmeye vaktim yok, daha çok fotoğrafın kompozisyonunu düşünüyorum  fakat şimdi sen bunu sorunca hissettiğimi yaratmanın verdiği memnuniyet olduğunu anlıyorum.

Fotoğraflarıma bakan insanlara duygularımı aktarmak istiyorum. Eğer fotoğraflarıma bir an durupta bakmaya devam ediyorlarsa gördüklerini sevdikleri içindir. Çünkü onlar güzelliği, sevinci, gizemi veya sadece birşeyleri hissediyorlardır. Memnunum. Eğer bazı fotoğraflar onları,  o fotoğrafa yüklediğim mesaj hakkında düşündürüyorsa daha da mutlu oluyorum.

Ve fotoğraf çekmekteki amacım? Haz. Gerçekten yapmaktan hoşlandığım birşeyler yapmaktan mutluyum. Bence yaşamdaki en önemli şey bu. Hayat küçük mutluluklardır... Çok paranız olması ya da bununla ne yaptığınız değil sevdiğiniz şeyi yapabildiğiniz sürece mutlusunuzdur. Bence olay budur.

What do you feeling behind the camera? What do you want to transfer about yourself and your feelings to people looking at your photographs? What is your purpose taking photograps? 

Behind the camera I have no time to think about my feelings, I think more about the composition of my photo, but now when you ask I think it is pleasure of creation what I feel.

I would like to transfer the emotions to people looking at my photographs. If they stop and keep looking at my photos for a moment because they like what they see, because they feel the beauty, the joy, the mystery or just they feel “something", I am glad. If some photos can make them think about the message I tried to put into my photos, I am even more glad.

And my purpose of taking photograhs? The pleasure. I am glad to do something that I really enjoy doing. I think that this is the most important thing in life. Life's little pleasure... Doesn't matter if you make a lot of money or not with what you do, as long as you do what you like. That is all that matters. 

Gelecek projeleriniz nelerdir? Gelecek hakkında neler düşünüyorsunuz?

Bir projem yok. Fotoğraf yoluma bir model ve fotoğrafçı olarak mümkün olduğu sürece devam edeceğim. Bugün gelecek hakkında plan yapmak zor çünkü gerçek yaşam tarzımıza devam ediyoruz (Korkarım edeceğiz de) Gelecek yok...Fakat yine de bir mucize tüm insanlığa daha iyi bir gelecek getirecek.

What're your next projects? What do you thinking about future? 

I have no projects. I will just continue my photographic way as a model and as a photographer as long as possible. Today it's hard to make plans for future because if we continue our actual lifestyl ( and I fear we will ), there is no future... but nevertheless, I hope that some miracle will bring some better future for all human beings.
