Aşk ve ilişki
Bizim düşünce şartlarımıza eşlik eden zarif hareketler ve yüz ifadeleri bana, hem hassas hem de evrensel olan değerli bir gerçekliği ifade eder. Kendimizle ya da bir başkasıyla ilişki kurduğumuzda bunda samimi bir güvenirlik bulurum. Ilişki kurmak için gerekli olan ortak güven ve saygı gibi tüm şeyleri ortaya koyan, insan doğasıyla uyumlu, doğal bir uyum olmalı.
Love and Connection
The subtle movements and facial expressions that accompany our climate of thought reflect a precious realness that is both sensitive and universal to me. When we make a connection with ourselves or with someone else I see authenticity unveil itself. There must be a natural harmony, which arises when all what is needed to connect - mutual trust and respect - coincide with human nature.
Potansiyel Aşk
2004’den beri Viyana’da potansiyel aşkı arıyorum. Bu, aşk ilişkilerimiz içindeki varolan kavram ve fikirleri sorguladığım bir seyahat. Yaşamak istediğimiz ile yaşadığımız arasında farklılıklar olduğu görülüyor. Sokaklardaki aşık çiftleri seçiyorum ve benimle bir akşam geçirmelerini rica ediyorum. Onların hikayelerini topluyorum ve benim varlığımı unuttukları anlarda fotoğraflarını çekiyorum. Bu fotoğraflarla aşk ve ilişki duygusunu aktarmak istiyorum. Onlar bize potansiyel aşkın bir kısmını gösterirler. Bununla beraber hikayeler, bizim aşk hakkındaki incelenmemiş görüşlerimiz ve düşüncelerimizden kaynaklanan iç çatışmalarımızı ortaya çıkarır. Fotoğraflarla hikayeler arasında ilgi çekici ve aynı zamanda önemli bir etkileşim mevcuttur. Eksiksiz ve etkileyici bir şekilde tasvir ettiğim insanları ve tecrübelerini sunmak için her zaman fırsatlar kollarım. Proje, grenli siyah beyaz bez baskı ve elle yazılmış metnin birleşiminden oluşmaktadır.
The Potential of Love
Since 2004 I am looking for the potential of love in the city of Vienna. It is a journey in which I question existing concepts and beliefs within our love relationships. There seems to be a discrepancy between what we want to experience and what we are in fact experiencing.
From time to time, I spot couples in love and I ask them if they want to spend an evening with me to talk about their relationship. I collect their stories and I take pictures at moments when there seems to be no awareness of my presence. With my camera I try to capture the fleeting moments where feelings of love and connection become evident, as these moments reveal a part of the potential of love. The stories however uncover the inner conflicts that originate from our unexplored concepts and believes on love and relationships. There is an exciting interaction between the images and the stories – both equally important.
I constantly reflect on new methods to present the images and stories in the most complete and profound way.
İçsel etki
İçsel etki kendimizle olan duygusal ve yoğun bağlantıyı ortaya koyar. 2005’den beri, tesadüfen karşılaştığım kadınların portrelerini yapıyorum. Onların yürekleriyle ilişki kurdukları anlarını yakalamaya çalışıyorum. Yüz ifadeleri, onların tutkularını ve karakterlerinin bir kısmını ifade eder. 2008’den beri bu proje, Super 8 Filmi ve sesi ile birleştirilmiştir. Super 8 filmi bir kadınla ilgilidir ve aynı kadının 1.50x1.00 boyutunda bir fotoğrafı üzerine projelendirilmiştir. Her kurgu, daha etkileyici bir deneyime sebep olan 3 boyutlu bir atmosfer yaratır.
Inneraction
Inneraction reveals the emotional and expressive connection we have with ourselves. Since 2005, I am portraying women who I meet by chance. We spent time together to share our dreams, vulnerability and challenges in life.
I capture them in moments when they are connected to their hearts. Their facial expressions reveal part of their sensitive and passionate character.
Since 2008 I have combined these photographs with Super-8 film and audio. The Super-8 film is projected on the photograph (150 x

2003 Conceptual Art project ‘Receive’ was exhibit in the building of the court of justice in the Netherlands. Eighty people where portrayed while they were screaming NO. Visitors had to ly down in a dark room to receive the slides which were projected on the ceiling. The public was invited to think about the meaning of NO in our daily society. With chalk people could write their thoughts on the black walls of the room.
Kavramsal Sanat projesi „ Almak“ Hollanda mahkeme binasında sergilendi. 80 kişi „HAYIR“ diye bağırırken tasvir edildi. İzleyiciler tavanda gösterilen slaytları izleyebilmek için yere yatmak zorundaydılar. Halk, gündelik toplumumuzdaki „HAYIR“ ın anlamını düşünmeye davet edildi. İnsanlar beyaz tebeşirle odanın siyah duvarlarına düşüncelerini yazdılar.
